"Many people have started these types of magazines and to date none that I have seen had that 'spark' that made me want to rush out and tell other people about it. Well, none until now that is! This is GREAT! Your layout, content and approach are the BEST! I honestly believe you have a winner on your hands here. Best of luck with the venture and keep up the OUTSTANDING good work!"

"I have enjoyed reading and seeing your excellent web pages. You've done a great job at making an interesting and informative space to celebrate that area so many love to hate, but would definitely be so much the poorer without. Afterall, the Castro really does symbolize the gay/lesbian movement in general, for better and for worse. Thanks again, and I look forward to many an enjoyable hour browsing (and reading :->) WebCastro."

"I had a wonderful time looking at your WebCastro page. I lived on Castro, just up the hill from where it intersects with Market from 1974-1979. I found myself there by accident. I am not gay, and really never thought much about gay people or gay issues. My wife and I simply found a nice apartment away from the ocean and moved in. The next few years turned out to be quite an adventure...The social life and events like the Halloween street parties in front of the hardware store (Cliff's was it?) were something never to be forgotten. I am sure that it has changed a lot with time and AIDS, but Castro will always mean a lot to a lot of people, and what happens there in certain ways transcends gay issues. The problems, the delights and the community are human problems, delights and communities. Anyway, thanks for your efforts by one straight old timer who still has wonderful memories renewed by your efforts on the web."

"My lover and I moved here from Chicago in 1979. We have lived near the Castro for over 15 years now and I never knew about the Harvey Milk plaque in the sidewalk until I read about it here a few minutes ago. I think it's time to take Trevor's Walking Tour!...Finally, a personal note to the two of you. I'll be looking
forward to checking in on your WebCastro page every so often to see what's new and how it's progressing. Best of luck with it!!"
